GeoMx® Spatial Transcriptomic Panels

Digital Spatial Profiling with NanoString GeoMx allows you to run high-plex spatial transcriptomic analysis on FFPE or fresh frozen tissue. Transcriptome target panels are designed for comprehensive profiling of spatial biology and provide an unbiased, quantitative view of gene expression.

Quantify Each Transcript

GeoMx RNA Assays contain in situ hybridization (ISH) probes conjugated to unique DNA indexing oligonucleotides via a UV-photocleavable linker. After selecting regions of interest (ROIs) using morphology markers, the DNA oligos in the selected regions are UV cleaved, collected and sequenced.

The DNA oligos contain ROI indices mapping them back to their tissue location, an RNA target identification sequence matching them to their ISH probes, and a unique molecular identifier (UMI) to deduplicate reads. Sequencing files are integrated back to the slide images and ROI selections for spatially resolved RNA expression analysis.

Placing transcriptomic data into a spatial context allows new pathways to be explored across fields of oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and more. Select from these ultra high-plex assays and let us run this powerful spatial transcriptome assay for you.

Designed for comprehensive profiling of the tumor, tumor microenvironment, and tumor immune status, the Cancer Transcriptome Atlas (CTA) is the right tool for immuno-oncology studies. Profile 1800 targets simultaneously, covering 55 critical immune and tumor-related pathways, with spatial resolution.

The IO Proteome Atlas (IPA) panel is the highest-plex spatial proteomics available. 570+ proteins from Abcam’s IHC validated human antibodies for immuno-oncology research enables broad biomarker discovery for translational research and is an excellent screening tool for spatial proteomic analysis.

The Whole Transcriptome Atlas (WTA) panel empowers researchers to explore entire biological pathways across a tissue. The entire human transcriptome, over 18,000 protein-coding genes, can be measured in each ROI to uncover gene expression patterns in specific regions of the tissue.

A spike in to the WTA or CTA panels, the TCR Profiling Add-On provides spatial profiling for the expression of different T Cell Receptor (TCR) Variable and Joining segments. Use it to target key markers of T Cell phenotype and activation status and understand adaptive T Cell Immune response.

Proteogenomic Analysis to Study Protein and RNA

The GeoMx DSP platform has the capability to analyze both protein and RNA on a single FFPE slide. To fully understand the interplay between RNA and protein in tissue, the proteogenomic workflow for NGS was developed allowing researchers to profile both analytes in the same ROIs.

We can run the proteogenomic workflow on your FFPE samples to fully capture the processes that control transcription, translation, and protein turnover.

Frequently Asked Questions

We specialize in GeoMx RNA Assays, but we have the capabilities to run any of the panels in the catalog. This includes protein NGS assays and the proteogenomics protocol.

Yes. We provide comprehensive training upon data delivery to help you confidently analyze your data. As the expert in your samples and study, we encourage you to lead the data analysis. While we support you in your analysis, we do not provide it as a service.

Yes! If we don’t have what you’re looking for in GeoMx Morphology Marker Kits or our catalog of pre-validated morphology markers, we can design your marker through our expert custom marker development services. We can validate a single marker to augment GeoMx kits or develop fully custom sets.
