We're excited to share a major step forward: the nCounter® platform is now enabling simplified RNA and protein analysis in a single workflow. Dive into our newest capabilities for bulk multiomics, get to know CosMx® SMI 2.0, and explore recent studies, how-to resources, and upcoming events. Whether you’re advancing discovery or streamlining validation, there’s something here to power your next breakthrough.

What's New

Multiomics made simple!

Same sample. Same platform. Same run. Explore simplified multiomics with RNA and protein analysis from the same sample.

nCounter Bulk Multiomics Highlights

  • Rapid sample to answer: Get multiomic results in 3 days with one platform and minimal hands-on-time.
  • Challenging sample compatibility: As with the original nCounter workflow, the multiomics technology can utilize whole slide FFPE and fresh frozen samples.
  • Modular panels: Stackable protein panels can be combined with your favorite nCounter RNA panels to create the customized assay you need.
  • Simplified data analysis: Jointly or independently assess RNA and protein data.

Introducing CosMx SMI 2.0

CosMx SMI 2.0 is an integrated software upgrade that will enable the CosMx Whole Transcriptome (WTX) Assay, deliver up to 2X higher RNA sensitivity for all commercial RNA panels, and introduce the latest generation of best-in-class accurate cell segmentation.

GeoMx DSP Illuminates Subtypes in iCCA

A new study published in OncoImmunology showcases how GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiling (DSP) and high-plex protein panels were used to deeply characterize the tumor-immune landscape of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA), a highly aggressive and understudied form of liver cancer.

Publication Highlights

  • Biology-driven profiling: Protein panels profiled tumor and immune niches and enabled spatial profiling from small, clinically relevant iCCA tissue samples
  • Five immune subtypes revealed: Each linked to distinct prognostic outcomes
  • Biology-driven profiling: Supports immune-based classification and future prognostic tools
