Convenient Sample Processing

Save time and let us process your fixed tissue. We can create tissue blocks, including processing, embedding, sectioning, and slide mounting.

Staining Expertise

Our talented team of histotechnologists and pathologists have extensive experience in tissue preparation and staining. Access to our specialized histopathology expertise enhances the interpretation of your complex tissue samples.

H&E and Special Stains Review

Receive expert reviews of your H&E and special staining by a pathologist or sub-specialist. Our comprehensive review process includes identification of tumor, normal, and dysplasia cells with a tumor content estimate. We also offer H&E marking of slides for macrodissection

IHC Review

Leverage our pathologist experts to interpret your IHC or other staining slides. The expert review of tissue samples is key for various IHC applications, including for the identification of appropriate biomarkers, determining histogenesis and rating the response to therapy

Histopathology Services by Board-Certified Pathologists

We offer histopathology services, including tissue processing, paraffin embedding and sectioning. Our team includes board-certified pathologists, who review slides, score tumors, and guide macrodissections.

Hematoxylin & Eosin (H&E) Staining

Our histopathology services offer hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining, which is the gold standard and preferred method in visualizing cellular structures and tissue architecture. H&E staining is fast, affordable, and is a routine staining method we offer for histopathology projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

We provide a wide range of histology services including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining by using frozen and paraffin section procedures. We also perform H&E, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining. For routine histology service, we can do sample embedding and sectioning, including H&E staining, and we can create additional sections from OCT embedded frozen blocks.

Our board-certified pathologists can review slides, score tumors and guide macrodissections. Our pathologists can also perform IHC staining review with H-score using cell type, staining pattern, intensity, and quantitative scoring with cell counting or H-score calculation as required.

Yes, our laboratory can provide H&E staining services, along with pathologist’s H&E review for tumor content, which includes H&E marking of slides for microdissection, including tumor, normal, dysplasia with % tumor content estimate.

Tissue should be fixed in 10% formalin then transferred and shipped in 70% ethanol. Do not send tissue in formalin. The samples should be transported in a leakproof container with 70% ethanol, put inside of a bag (in case there is a leak), then surrounded with ice packs in the shipment box.

Yes, we can use optimal cutting temperature compound (OCT) to embed tissue samples prior to frozen sectioning on a microtome-cryostat. Fresh frozen samples should be shipped on dry ice in a Styrofoam container. If the tissue is not already embedded in OCT, the tissue should be wrapped in clearly labeled aluminum foil inside of a specimen box. If the tissue is already embedded in OCT, the mold that was used to embed the tissue can accompany the block to protect the surface of the tissue from damage and then be wrapped in clearly labeled aluminum foil before placement in a specimen box.
