You provide the tissue blocks and your targets of interest, and our services team will complete panel procurement, sample preparation, and slide processing on the MERSCOPE instrument.

Single molecule FISH (smFISH) technology uses fluorescently tagged oligonucleotides to label individual RNA transcripts, enabling precise quantification of gene expression at the single-cell level. MERFISH expands smFISH by adding combinatorial labeling, sequential imaging, and error-robust barcoding to increase the multiplexing capacity, allowing for the simultaneous detection of up to a thousand genes and to spatially localize transcripts to map gene expression across whole tissues.
