Understanding Biological Complexity with nCounter panels for Specialized Applications
Gene expression analysis is a key tool to explore biological complexity in a variety of systems. In addition to oncology and immunology panels, Bruker Spatial Biology offers a portfolio of panels for specialized applications such as neuroscience, stem cell characterization, cardiovascular disease, and gene therapy.
Designed to evaluate neurodegeneration, aid in gene therapy development, or explore cardiovascular dysfunction, these panels provide molecular insights with quick, actionable data.
This panel explores how cardiovascular dysfunction contributes to heart disease, hypertension, and atherosclerosis. Study the cardiotoxic effects of immune therapies or assess the roles of aging and cell renewal in cardiac regenerative medicine. This panel provides molecular insights with quick, actionable results.
Identify and validate miRNA biomarkers faster and more reproducibly than with RNA-seq or RT-qPCR technologies. Detect and quantify 800 biologically relevant miRNAs in a single sample, from any sample type, and avoid bias introduced from amplification-based techniques.
The neuroinflammation panel is designed to rapidly analyze neuroimmune interactions for a complete view of the complex interplay between immune and nervous systems. The 770 gene targets provide a comprehensive evaluation of the pathways, processes, and cell types that are involved in inflammation.
Easily assess and monitor primary molecular characteristics of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) with 770 standardized genes covering 30 clinically derived AD-associated modules discovered in the AMP-AD consortium study of human brain tissue. The AD panel allows researchers to reliably assay AD phenotypes and disease progression.
Stem cell therapy is a rapidly advancing field. This nCounter panel measures 8 essential components of stem cell biology while directly profiling 770 genes. Evaluate viability, confirm functionality, and determine pluripotency with a robust and reproducible assay.
This panel standardizes the gene therapy process from vector development and viral manufacturing to post-treatment monitoring. Covering 800 genes across 40 pathways, the content measures innate and adaptive immune responses and addresses questions related to host-vector interactions.
This panel is designed to target and evaluate all aspects of neurodegeneration. The 770 targets cover 6 fundamental themes: neurotransmission, neuron-glia interaction, neuroplasticity, cell structure integrity, neuroinflammation, and metabolism.
Comprehensively study the role of astrocytes, microglia, and oligodendrocytes in healthy and diseased samples with the Glial Profiling panel. The 770 targets cover glial cell biology involved in both homeostasis and disease. Study key pathways including cell stress and damage response, glial regulation, inflammation and peripheral immune invasion, glial homeostasis, and neurotransmission.
Access Clinically-Relevant Gene Expression Signatures
We are one of only five nCounter service providers that offer nAlgorithm™ gene signature reporting for biopharma clinical studies. We offer the Tumor Inflammation Signature (TIS), Lymphoma Subtyping Test (LST), and PAM50 assay. These signatures provide cell typing and quantification, assist in patient stratification, and facilitate better biomarker identification.
A Turnkey Solution for Gene Expression Analysis
Our nCounter service is are streamlined and efficient, with three simple steps to deliver reproducible data for your study.
Select Your Gene Panel
Choose from one of the predesigned gene panels relevant to your research, customize it with a spike in, or design your own.
Tell Us About Your Samples
Provide the sample number, sample type and species, and we will take care of the rest. We can also isolate RNA from your blood, cell pellets, or tissue samples.
Choose How We Deliver Your Data
We include raw and normalized data in your nCounter service. We also offer premium data analysis packages through ROSALIND for differential gene expression analysis.
Pair Gene Expression with Spatial Biology for Impactful Results
Understanding the roles of the different cell types that make up the central nervous system is paramount for the detection, treatment, and ultimately prevention of neurodegenerative diseases. Targeted gene expression using nCounter is one tool to explore neuroscience, and we offer the capability to expand your findings in situ with high-plex, high-resolution biomarker detection using our CellScapeTM Precise Spatial Proteomics technology.
We also offer comprehensive discovery gene expression services with our RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq capabilities and spatial transcriptomic profiling using GeoMx® digital spatial profiling and CosMx™ spatial molecular imaging technologies. Pairing targeted transcriptomics with spatial multi-omics is a unique and powerful way to identify cell-cell interactions, uncover disease mechanisms, and monitor treatment efficacy.
Additional nCounter Panels
Immunology and Infectious Disease
The Immunology and Infectious Disease Panels are designed for researchers studying autoimmunity, immune responses to infectious diseases, and changes in immune cell populations in oncology contexts.
Oncology
The Oncology Panels are curated, high-plex collections selected for cancer research, ranging from multiple pan-cancer panels to more focused panels supporting CAR-T and ADC development.
